Ms. Marlene Diaz

For the 2022/2023 school year, Marlene Diaz will be joining us as a math teacher. Marlene Diaz was born in Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of 4. She was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Dallas ISD schools. She attended Arcadia Park Elementary School and Raul Quintanilla Middle School. In 2017, she graduated from Trinidad Garza Early College High School.

Ms. Diaz’s passion for teaching started when she was 16-year-old. After graduating from the University of North Texas in 2020, she started her teaching career. She now has 2 years of experience and plans to gain many more years. In her personal time, she enjoys being with family and watching sports. Her favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Mexico soccer team. She is immensely proud of her two siblings; one is a nurse and the other attends Sunset High School. Of course, her dog Bella cannot be forgotten.
