Mr. Luis Zambrano
Luis Zambrano was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and came to the United States when he was six years old. After living all over the State of Texas, he attended Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration. He worked as an economist for several years before deciding to go to law school. He attended SMU Dedman School of Law, and he graduated in 2001 with honors with a Juris Doctorate. After clerking with the Texas Supreme Court, Mr. Zambrano worked in commercial litigation for twenty years, representing large and small clients in a variety of business disputes. Mr. Zambrano also taught at the SMU Dedman School of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching Pretrial Practice & Advocacy and Internal Investigations. In 2003, he married his wife Angela, also an attorney, and they have a busy household of three kids (one heading to college in 2024!) and two dogs. Most recently, Mr. Zambrano graduated with a Master of Education from SMU and taught AP Human Geography at North Dallas High School last year. He is thrilled to join the faculty at the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet.
